Preserving the best traditions of Moscow and St. Petersburg Conservatories, the Kazakh National Conservatory has created its own national model of music education. Its uniqueness organically synthesizes the best achievements of European and local educational traditions.  The Conservatory has two strategic priorities determined by Kazakh folk music and classic European tradition. These two spheres are equally important and developed, and concurrently represent and form the image of the Conservatory.

Their music pieces are performed worldwide.

The graduates of the Conservatory work in many national  music and art organizations such as Abai National Academic Opera and Ballet Theater; Baiseitov National Opera Theater; Presidential Orchestra; Kazakh National Music Academy; Zhurgenov Kazakh National Academy of Arts; Women’s  Teacher Training University; symphonic and wind orchestras; chamber music orchestras; folk music orchestras; numerous music colleges, schools, and many other institutions.  The graduates of the Conservatory also successfully work  in music teams abroad including Russia, Germany, Greece, the Netherlands, Israel, the USA, France, Canada, Korea, China, etc.
